Cantaloupe
Claiming to be the most delicious and aromatic of all melons, this small round tasty treat usually has a rough prominent surface. When ripe, the pale orange flesh is very juicy and deliciously sweet. Choose one that is heavy for its size, releases a sweet fruity fragrance and has a thick raised netting with a slightly golden undercolor. It should yield slightly to finger pressure at its blossom end when ready to eat.Keep cut or ripe fruit in refrigerator for up to three days. Ripen at room temperature.
